28/05/13 – Vertical Prison


Tower blocks must be the biggest blight on the landscape in the UK.  Do not get me wrong, some can be amazingly designed stunning works of art that enhance a town (look at the London structures such as the Shard) but those 1970’s cement prisons are just dreadful to look at.

The weather was a bit shocking on this day so the solitary tower block looking domineeringly over the local town looked more menacing with the dark clouds behind it so I really liked the shot.
