28/05/13 – Vertical Prison

DSC_3619

Tower blocks must be the biggest blight on the landscape in the UK.  Do not get me wrong, some can be amazingly designed stunning works of art that enhance a town (look at the London structures such as the Shard) but those 1970’s cement prisons are just dreadful to look at.

The weather was a bit shocking on this day so the solitary tower block looking domineeringly over the local town looked more menacing with the dark clouds behind it so I really liked the shot.
