21/12/2012 – Victoria Clocktower

DSC_1141

Middle of the day in town can lead to some interesting challenges for a new photo fan.  For example on a wet and sunny day there is a LOT of glare, so what is a boy to do……… Only one answer – MONOCHROME!  I do love me some black and whiteness.

The thing I like about this image is the suns glare around the edges of the clock tower and how imposing the tower looks being so much darker than the surrounding buildings, along with the fact that even though in real life it is shorter than the others due to the perspective of the image it looks taller.
