29/10/12 – Ladybirds

As I walk to the shop I go down a small alleyway, that’s where I see this.  A massed group of ladybirds all clambering over a bit of fencing – with a very well camouflaged centipede too!  You’ve got to love the colours of these, and I find it interesting how there’s always one or two with the colours inverted.

Ladybird, ladybird fly away home,

Your house is on fire and your children are gone,

All except one,

And her name is Ann,

And she hid under the baking pan.
